Patient's Right & Responsibilities

Patient's Rights
  • To receive high quality care appropriate to the patient's need and within the scope of the hospital

  • To receive considerate care regardless of race, religion and age

  • To be informed about the illness, treatment and prognosis

  • To be provided with confidentiality durning examination or treatment

  • Right to keep confidentiality in medical records

  • To be informed and asked for consent if the patient is being included in any medical research conducted at the hospital

Patient's Responsibilities
  • To provide complete accurate information including Full name, Address, Age, Telephone number, Insurance, APL/BPL details whenever necessary

  • To provide accurate and complete information regarding present illness past medical history, hospitalization, and other matters relating to the patient's health

  • To follow the treatment plan advised by the doctor including the instruction of nurse and other health professionals as they carry out the physician's orders

  • To treat hospital staff and other patients with dignity and respect and refrain from any activity that can disrupt the proper functioning of the hospital

  • Do not bring or use alcohol, cigarettes, unauthorized drugs, or weapons into the hospital

  • Do not bring or use plastic items within the hospital

  • The patient should be accompanied by a bystander during the time of injection or observation

  • Assure that the financial obligation of patient care are fulfilled as per hospital policy
